Real Letters from
Shopsmith Power Tool Owners

Here at Shopsmith, our mailbox is constantly stuffed with great letters from Shopsmith Power Tool Owners, talking about how they use their tools and what they think about them. Here are some excerpts from just a few of the thousands of letters we’ve received from the members of our Shopsmith Family of satisfied owners throughout the years. We hope you’ll enjoy reading them as much as we have.

A wave of our magic wand and “POOF!”...customer's headstock is returned!

Dennis Luchette of Maldorf, MD. writes . . .

“On May 25th, I requested the use of a Loaner Headstock. On May 29th, I received it and sent mine back to you the same day. I set the loaner up, attached my planer and jointer and hadn't even finished my planing job when on June 4th, my headstock was back in my possession, completely reconditioned as I had requested! It took me longer to change headstocks than it did being without it.

I've been a woodworker for over 20 years and today, you can't find a tool in my shop that isn't made by Shopsmith (except for my Porter-Cable router). Keep up the great work. You're providing a great joy to many people.”

Excellent Customer Service is a way of life at Shopsmith

Roger B. of Greenville, NC writes...

“Many times, people fail to recognize quality service from the companies they deal with. I felt compelled, after my most recent experience with your organization, to write and voice my opinion. Never in my 24 years of business experience, have I received the extremely efficient and courteous service that I receive when dealing with the employees of your company. They make me feel important as a customer of Shopsmith.

This is not a one-time experience for me, as I have consistently been impressed with your people. Today's telephone order made me think of this experience and that this type of service should be applauded.

In closing, I would recommend to any company, large or small, that they adopt Shopsmith's attitude with its customers. It is infinitely superior to any other company's efforts.”

Shopsmith “Old-Timer” is still a very happy camper!

L. Curry of Lexington, VA writes...

“Just after World War II, I purchased a Shopsmith, Model 10ER. About 10 or so years later, I upgraded by buying a MARK V, which I still have. It's safe to say that most things of this sort fall short of what the sales pitch leads us to believe. However, I have found that Shopsmith is a happy exception to this. Both of the models I have owned have enabled me to make numerous high-quality articles and afforded me a great feeling of accomplishment.

In several cases, friends watching me use my Shopsmith have been motivated to buy one of their own. I have found your product to be a sophisticated and superbly engineered piece of equipment. Its versatility is remarkable and I feel privileged to own a Shopsmith multi-purpose tool.
