Letters from Here at Shopsmith, our mailbox is constantly stuffed with great letters from Shopsmith Power Tool Owners, talking about how they use their tools and what they think about them. Here are some excerpts from just a few of the thousands of letters we’ve received from the members of our Shopsmith Family of satisfied owners throughout the years. We hope you’ll enjoy reading them as much as we have. |

Pennsylvania man sings MARK V's praises Steve Hanner
of Bethlehem, PA writes... During the short time that I have had the MARK V, I've had to call twice because of a problem. The first time was when I was setting-up the Jointer. One of the nylon angle setscrews broke. I called for a replacement and the person who took my call was very polite and efficient. The replacement part arrived a short time later. The second time I needed to call was when the Bandsaw blade broke after only two hours of use. I was expecting Shopsmith to tell me the blade would not be replaced. Boy! Was I wrong! Again, the person who took my call was very polite, asking me if the blade broke at the weld joint. I hadn't looked to see where it broke and told her that. She said, 'We'll send one right out.' I am very happy with the equipment and service that I have received thus far. I don't usually write letters like this, but I just wanted you to know that it's nice to see a company stand behind its products and its customers.
California woman sincerely enjoys Shopsmith classes Melinda Hodge
of Santa Rosa, CA writes... All of the information was given with a view toward safety, practicality and enabling students to learn how to get a Shopsmith MARK V system to do all it was designed to do. And that to me is exciting, joyful and wonderful! That's why I like woodworking....it's so much fun! For me, I learn best when I can see something done...then do it. If you continue to provide these seminars, I will continue to support them. There are many areas of woodworking which could be expanded into a class...joinery, turning, finishing, etc. Please consider offering more workshops. |
