Air Force man “loves his MARK V”

G. B. Jackson of Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D. writes . . .

“Please add this letter to the thousands of pounds of mail you must receive every month, singing the praises of the Shopsmith MARK V. I can't begin to tell you how happy I am with my MARK V! This is the only product I've ever purchased that was actually understated by the salesman.

To the user, it becomes very obvious that a great deal of research and development went into it. I can sum up my feelings about the MARK V and Shopsmith, Inc. in a short statement…I LOVE it! Thanks again for maintaining the fine level of professionalism among your staff…the super after-the-sale service…the highest quality merchandise…and the friendliest telephone assistance in the World!"

Compact versatility of MARK V convinces man to get his own

D.L. Novak of Rolling Meadows, IL writes...

“In the early 50's when I was fresh out of high school, I saw an ad for the Shopsmith MARK V. Some years later, I was visiting a friend who owned a small home in the suburbs. He told me that he had a complete woodworking shop in his 12' x 16' basement. I found it hard to believe that he had this in such a small house, but after seeing it for myself and getting a three demonstration on what the MARK V could do, I new this was the machine for me!

It was a long time before I could own a MARK V but now, my evenings are filled with the fun and new adventure of woodworking and don't know how I got along without the MARK V for so many years. It's not only what you say it is…its much, much more. I'm now look forward to many years of woodworking enjoyment -- thanks to all the people at Shopsmith, Inc.”

Limited space almost keeps man from money-making woodworking business

Joseph M. of Burnham, PA writes...

“Because of limited space, I wasn't sure if I should become involved in woodworking. Nevertheless, I bought a Shopsmith MARK V and a Jointer in 1982. Excited to get started, I only lacked one thing -- a project. Well, as fate would have it, a friend called about a project he had in mind -- a cabinet for his guitar amplifier. Now, I had my first project. I selected red oak for the case and cane webbing for the speaker grille. This increased interest in my designs got me started in my own business. I put together an information packet and soon, orders began pouring in.

Today, my business is operated out of my 11' x 13' shop and I often wonder what I would be doing if I hadn't bought my MARK V. Thanks for offering a fine woodworking system that has allowed me to expand my own abilities.”

Man remodels home with MARK V

Pam Ahlers of McCook, NE writes...

“Soon after we started remodeling our 80-year-old house, we purchased a Shopsmith MARK V. My husband Don opened up an unfinished attic and turned it into two bedrooms, a den and a bath. He then built a winding oak staircase to reach this new area, remodeled the other rooms in the house, added on a building, built a redwood deck and an oak bay window. The MARK V is the best investment we've ever made !”
