Texas owner discovers “magic” of MARK V for himself

“Eighteen months ago, I didn't know anything at all about woodworking.
Then I saw a demonstration of the Shopsmith MARK V and decided that I
could do it. It appeared that the demonstrator just “threw”
wood at the MARK V and furniture magically appeared out of the other end.
And, although I was a wee bit disappointed by my first few projects, I
have improved and discovered that my MARK V does for me all of those things
for which I have not the skill. All that's required of me is patience.

Ultimate Shop. I initially didn't want many of the items that came with
it, but took them as a part of the package. Now that I'm a little more
experienced, I can see the need for every item and use them all!”
