our (her) Shopsmith MARK V. What makes this so unique is that she's never
made anything out of wood...has never finished a wood project...or even
screwed two pieces of wood together before! Two years ago, she saw the
Shopsmith TV show and asked me to buy her a MARK V. Although she's extremely
crafty, she had never worked with wood. My woodworking experience has
been limited to junior high-school shop classes over twenty years ago
and some repairs around the house.
I was very reluctant to buy it, but on her insistence, I did. We've been ecstatic about it ever since. That's why I say it's our MARK V and she says it's hers. Thanks so much for such a super machine!”
